The match was over as soon as it began.
With a score of 8-0, it was an easy victory for the Bears as the dominated against Edsel Ford for the entire match.
“The competition was not tough,” Zachary Crosby said after the match. Crosby won both his sets 6-0.
Iit was overall a team effort, with the closest game of the match coming from Matt Trusewicz, who won 6-1 as half of the number 2 doubles teams.
“Everyday we put in a good amount of effort and work for each and every practice,” head coach Joe Loselle said. “The guys give it their all and seem to really care about the tennis team this year.”
However, the team still has some minor issues to overcome.
“Me and my partner need to work better on moving around the court,” Matthew Trusewicz said. “But this was one of our better matches.”
Nick Hickey feels another weakness is serving.
“I need to work to harder during practice to work on my serves since I had a couple double faults earlier during the match.”
At the end of the match the team was in good spirits about the win and are looking forward to the rest of the season.
